Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 April 2026
1. Who we are
SchemeMap is provided by D4N LTD (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales. These terms govern your use of the service at schememap.co.uk.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for activity under your account. Don’t share your sign-in details. If you think your account has been compromised, email support@d4n.uk and we’ll help you secure it.
3. Acceptable use
- Don’t store pupil-identifiable data in SchemeMap — it’s not an MIS.
- Don’t use SchemeMap to do anything unlawful, or to harass anyone.
- Don’t try to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the service.
- Don’t scrape or abuse the API beyond the documented rate limits.
4. No reselling
You may use your Pro or Department subscription for your own teaching (or for the department you administer). You may not resell access to SchemeMap, nor bundle it into another commercial product without a separate written agreement.
5. Billing
Subscription prices are shown on our pricing page. Annual plans are billed once per year; monthly plans renew each month. You can cancel any time — access continues to the end of the paid period, and we don’t offer partial refunds except where required by UK consumer law.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of every SOW, lesson log, and note you put into SchemeMap. You grant us a limited licence to process this content only to provide the service to you. We’ll never sell it or use it to train AI models.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uptime. If the service is materially unavailable for an extended period we’ll credit you fairly.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise our maximum liability to you in a 12-month period is the total you’ve paid us in that period.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we’ll email you at least 14 days ahead of time.
